My Name is Red
(A Green colored puppet comes onto the stage, his name is Red)
Red: Hi
Mike: Um, Hi, I'm not quite sure we have met. Are you here for Dynamite Club?
Red: I sure am! I love dynamite!
Mike: Well, we actually don't really have dynamite in Dynamite Club. That's just a name.
Red: O man! I love dynamite.
Mike: Yeah...by the way. What is your name?
Red: My name is Red.
(Mike looks at him with questioning look)
Mike: Why is your name Red?
Red: Cuz my mom named me that!
Mike: Well, yeah, but...you're not red. You're green!
Red: (Gasp) How dare you say that! My fur is a beautiful fire truck red!
Mike: I'm sorry, Green, I mean, Red, you are not red.
Red: I promise you that I am.
Mike: Okay. Let me ask you a few questions.
Red: Go ahead.
Mike: Okay. What color is the grass?
Red: Well, it is summer so it kinda has a brown look...
Mike: I mean, what color is the grass normally!?!
Red: O! Green.
Mike: Good. Okay, what color is a stop sign?
Red: Red.
Mike: Very good! Now what color are you?
Red: Red!
Mike: O man! I almost had you! Kids, what color do you think Red is?
Kids: (Yell out their answer)
Mike: Red, do you want to hear what we are doing this summer for Dynamite Club?
Red: Throw around dynamite?!?
Mike: Absolutely not!
Red: Then what are we going to do?
Mike: (Use this time to promote your activities for the summer, whether it be camp, Bible verse memory, or Vacation Bible School)
Red: Oh my goodness! That's too much for me to handle!
Mike: Yeah? Are you going to be ok?
Red: Yeah, I think so. I'm going to do all of that stuff! It's going to be stoopendous!
Mike: Stoopendous?
Red: Stoopendous.
Mike:...Okay, well, Red, we need to move on with Dynamite Club. So can you say bye to the kids?
Red: Bye to the kids!
Mike: Will we see you next week?
Red: Yes sir ree!
Mike: Can't wait.
